Tokiwa-so is a two-story wooden apartment where young manga masters such as Osamu Tezuka pioneered a new era of manga. Although it was torn down in 1982, it was reconstructed as an anime and manga museum and opened in July 2020. In the Minami-Nagasaki area, there are monuments of manga characters created by manga artists who lived in Toshima City. They are adored by many visiting fans.
