At Lake Ashinoko, fishing is permitted every year from March 2nd to December 14th.
How about experiencing fishing at Lake Ashinoko which represents Hakone for some time to yourself in which you can enjoy fishing while gazing at the gradually changings scenery on the Hotel’s pier?
* At Lake Ashinoko, fishing is allowed from “one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset”. Fishing outside of these hours is prohibited.
* Guests who have their own fishing gear can enjoy fishing with their own fishing gear.
* Please note that bait fishing on the bank or pier is prohibited for one month after fishing starts being allowed.

* There is a limit number of fishing rods available for rental. (Advance reservations allowed)
* At Lake Ashinoko, to preserve the environment, plastic worms, synthetic bait, and so on are not permitted to be used. Please take note.
* If you have your own fishing gear and have purchased a license for recreational fishing, please let the front desk know before fishing in the courtyard.

We rent out bicycles that come with electric assistance. You can fully enjoy the great nature of Hakone Geopark that you will not notice if you travel by car.
Our bicycles are easy to maneuver, so they are convenient for stopping by secret spots with few parking spaces too.

At 723m above sea level, this aquarium is located at the highest elevation among all aquariums with seawater tanks in Japan. The Hakone-en Aquarium comprises a Saltwater Area that features large seawater tanks and fish from around the world, as well as a Seal Plaza that is home to Baikal seals and harbor seals. In addition to holding various events such as underwater shows, seal shows, and handshake events with Asian small-clawed otters, the aquarium also features seasonal exhibits.

One famous ninja technique is called the “water spider”, it involves the use of special footwear to walk on water.
Now the amphibious Ninja Bus takes to the waters of Lake Ashi, Hakone,
like a ninja standing on the surface of the lake.

The Dai-Hakone Country Club boasts a completely hand-made 18-hole golf course full of character located in the vast Sengokuhara plain against the backdrop of the Hakone Somma.
The course also acts as host to the CAT Ladies Golf Tournament for professional female golfers.
