Jogasaki Coast

Jogasaki Coast was formed about 4,000 years ago from lava that flowed down from eruptions of Mt. Omuro.

Hiking the approximately nine kilometers of the Picnical Course and the Jogasaki Nature Study Course is definitely recommended.
In particular, the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, 48 meters long and 23 meters high, is a thrilling spot with spectacular views.
Take in the sights of the Izu Seven Islands and the Amagi Mountains from the observatory at the Kadowakizaki Lighthouse,
which offers 360-degree panoramic views.

As well as the magnificent views, this is also a great area to enjoy the sight of pretty flowers,
including hydrangeas in June, lilies such as coastal day-lily and Thunberg lily in July,
and gold and silver chrysanthemum and leopard plant in the fall.
