Moon road & Kazemachi fune

On a full moon, the moonlight reflects on the surface of the water,
creating the so-called ‘Moon Road.’
You can occasionally witness this fantastic nighttime view.
*Recommended in the autumn from September to December.

The sight of the Kazemachi-fune (boats waiting for the wind),
the row of lights reflected onto the sea that is a feature of winter in Shimoda,
can be seen on the sea right in front of the Hotel.
