Seibu Prince Global Rewards
Namesawa Gorge
This gorge, located on the north side of the Amagi mountain pass,
is a tributary of the Kano River, enveloped in deep forest.
The river has many faces, in some parts creating whitewater rapids that rush among andesite rocks and in other places creating deep pools.
Take the walking trail along the gorge to reach Taro-sugi, one of Izu’s tallest and largest Japanese cedar trees.
The new green of early summer is certainly beautiful, while the season of fall foliage is also highly recommended.
