Shinagawa Shrine

Shinagawa Shrine was founded in 1187, and it is said that Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed for Suzaki Myojin in Awa Province. The shrine grounds include the popular Ana Inari Shrine, which offers blessings for good luck with money. Daikokuten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of the Tokai region, is enshrined here, and during New Year’s holidays it is crowded with visitors visiting New Year’s shrines and visiting the Seven Lucky Gods.
